The @3@@APPENDIXSECTION@1 command has the form:

@3@@APPENDIXSECTION<title>@1

where @3title@1 is the title of the appendix
section concerned, eg:

@3@@APPENDIXSECTION<This is an appendix section>@1

An @3@@APPENDIXSECTION@1 command produces a
numbered, boldface appendix section heading,
set off from the surrounding text, and placed
at the left margin. 

Note that Roman not Arabic numbers are used
for numbering appendix sections.
