Which form is used is largely a matter of
personal choice - the point is that the text
to be formatted according to the rules
defining that environment is placed either
between the @3@@BEGIN@1 and @3@@END@1 directives in the
first case, or, between the opening and
closing bracket or delimiter in the second
case.
