SCRIBE  Directives.

We can extract some general information about
SCRIBE directives from the previous examples:

 - SCRIBE directives are preceded by an @3@@@1
   sign

 - SCRIBE directives which have bracketed
   portions may use different bracketing
   symbols (@3( )@1, @3[ ]@1, @3{ }@1, @3" "@1, @3' '@1, @3< >@1)

 - SCRIBE directives may be entered in upper
   or lower case (we will use upper case from
   now on for clarity.
