The simplest way of smartening up our fairly
boring line printer output is by specifying
another output device - one which produces a
high quality print using a proportionally
spaced font for example. This is achieved
with the @3@@DEVICE@1 directive:

   @3@@DEVICE[devicename]@1

where @3devicename@1 is the name by which the
chosen device is known to SCRIBE.
