On further discussion, I think that Spider will agree to leave off the Gateway discussion until after the end of the pad project. Spider are allowed to use the code on 'other' Pads and Gateways. [need to clarify, cost etc this one] @section[Porting Work] ERCC to port the code onto the Spiderport, work to take 9 man weeks, with the following activities:- @itemise[ Understanding of Spider i/fs in Taskin Monitor, Eth. driver and upper level. Complete specification of I/Fs at Eth/Upper level with Spider Port of code, H/W and compiler specific changes, I/F change in main code Glue code to match Spiders I/F to ercc Test against Spider provided test harness in box Test against Spider completed code Test against our other versions, ie GEC,Whitchapel and IBM ] @section[Support] Current presumption is that Spider will come back to us for long term support, probably on a time&mat. basis.
