comparison of some pdp11 processors using a pdp11/34 as a base



Tests were run on Release 7 of Deimos using the standard extended
instruction set except where noted.

A program that writes solidly to the RK05 wrote 1180 blocks in one
minute (20 blocks/sec) using 65% of an 11/45 (no fast store) CPU using
DEIMOS VSN 8. When in direct competition with a similar program it
wrote 612 Blocks in one minute.
