This directory contains files related to driving the "old" CLAN laser printer
located in the corridor 24 photocopier room.

The file SPOOLER.COM should be copied into the customisation file for the
APM controlling that laser printer (currently CUSTOM:2F.COM).

Files NCPxx and ECANONxx make up the driver and despooling program.

NCP24 issued with MARK and RELEASE and increased heapgrab

NCP25 issued. The bug in printing layout files whereby the first page is 
overlayed with text and a list of hex numbers on seems to occur on the first
file printed after the spooler is started.

Issued new version ncp2.6 and ecanon2.5. Turned font info collecting on and 
added pages printed field to database.

Issued the 'apres hack' by Rainer versions which alleviated the garbling
apparently caused by timing problems.

Altered use of SETHOST stuff in NCP27->NCP28:  This is to alleviate the
filestore's "no ports" problem.  The despooler has been seen to have two
ports permanently allocated to it, of which one was used for booting only.
Now we not only relinquish that one, but also give up the one we use to
scan the printer directory during the idling breaks.
