These directories contain the source files for the APM implementations of the filestores, plus the TCP/IP stack
which ran on the hierarchical version. Specifically:

* FS.1976/ contains the source for the 1983 reimplementation of the original "1976" Interdata version. In particular,
the directory structure on disc is identical.

* FS.hier/ contains the source for the experimental version which provided a hierarchical file system. Directories
in this version were implemented as B-trees.

* INET/ isn't strictly "filestore" code as such. It's the APM version of GDMR's TCP/IP stack, which also ran on
ECSVAX. It's here because it ran on the hierarchical filestores, and this code made use of some of the
  utility procedures defined there.

For the "VMS filestore" code, which was written for ECSVAX while FS.1976 was being developed to provide a more
reliable service than that of the Interdata filesore, please see ../VMS-filestore/.

For the VMS version of the TCP/IP stack, including the TCPdriver virtual device driver which was written to
provide more performant multiplexing, please see ../gdmr-tcp-ip/.

Sadly, the original Interdata version appears to be lost.
