idec.c is stable although somewhat crude.

i2c is an experimental piece of code to compile from icode to
low-level C.  This is CURRENTLY BEING WRITTEN so may be being
edited even as you look at it.  By all means look but please
don't copy this until the first release. (Which you'll recognise
because it'll start having version numbers in it)
